Unlike chauvinistic men, Amisha Patel’s boyfriend is pretty cool about the actress posing in skimpy dresses for photoshoots.

Ever since Amisha Patel broke up from Vikram Bhatt and found love in the London-based businessman, Kanav Puri, her life has undergone a whirlwind change. To say the least, her onscreen image has swapped from a coy girl-next-door to a sexy siren who flaunts her hot bod with aplomb.

Far from discouraging her, Kanav has been very supportive of Amisha’s decisions, be it posing in teeny-weeny dresses for men’s magazines or going almost topless for Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar.

What could not happen seven years back is happening now. Vishal Bharadwaj had unsuccessfully tried to make a film with Aishwarya Rai in 2002. That project could not materialize, but both Ash and Vishal – respectful of each other’s talents – promised they would work together whenever a right project came along.

Well, that project has now come along and is set to take the shape of a film. After finishing his Kaminay with Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra , Vishal would work with Ash. The project is not likely to go on floors soon, but will roll by the end of this year.

Before that Ash has a number of films to shoot for. She is presently committed to Mani Ratnam’s Ravana and Shankar’s Robot . She is set to pair with Akshay Kumar in a Vipul Amrutlal Shah film. She has also given her nod to directors Abhinay Deo (director of Delhi Belly ) and Rituparno Ghosh .
